The village is verdant and surrounded by countless olive groves. At a distance of about 10 minutes' drive are Tavronitis and Kolymbari. In these two places you will find a supermarket, a bank, schools of all levels, restaurants, excellent beaches and several shops. The city and airport of Chania are approximately 30 and 40 minutes’ drive away, respectively.
