Situated in a settlement on a hill, it has the best sea view.
Sometimes you can see endless waters but sometimes you will find beautiful mount Olympus right in front of you.
It is amazing to have a freshly made breakfast on a balcony with jasmine flowers smell all around you!
The house itself is a townhouse. Each one is divided into 12 secluded parts with their own independent entrances. During summer the region is considered to be touristic and that means that since many people spend their vacations in this region some may live in the same settlement. During winter few people seem to exist in the same square kilometre. Home owners use it as a weekend house, but out-of-season they don’t come around at all.
The house has 5 semi-stories. In a basement there is bathroom with instant water heater and a special room for washing machine. The semi-basement is kids’ room with 3 sleeping places. Then goes the ground floor with the kitchen, which is equipped very well: stove and oven, big fridge, electric kettle. The next floor is high-ceiling living room with a beautiful fireplace and 2 more sofas with a dozen of blankets inside. From this room you can access big balcony with a stair to the lawn. The upper floor is a master bedroom, with 2 small cupboards from both sides and lamps for reading in the evening and a wardrobe in the wall.
A bus can be used, it passes past the settlement and goes to Thessaloniki and to Kassandria. The internet connection is excellent. You can find many shops around. One supermarket is 4 km away, in Siviri village; 2 more are 2 km away, in Skala Fourka (they are closed in October - March). Another big one and some more services (like hospital, post office, pharmacies, copy center, local lottery, bakery, etc.) are in Kassandreia (the biggest town around), 7 km away.
The nearest beach is right opposite the settlement, just cross the road. Up the hill you can find a big forest, but not wild, there are mud roads leading to beautiful small churches working every Sunday morning, to fields with shepherds and their goats and sheep, to olive groves and bushes of blackberries. If lucky, you can meet hares, hedgehogs or turtles. Hawks flying above in the sky looking for prey are almost guaranteed.
